I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Thornton, CO) in Dec 2016
Interview
Very informal interview process. Conversational and not stressful. Interviewers were not well prepared and tended to let the candidate take the lead in the interview. Panel consisted of a hiring manager, a technical lead, and an accounting representative.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
This was a HackerX thing -- speed dating with this company and 7 others. This would have been preliminary to a more extensive interview. I did it mostly out of curiosity -- I had worked in aerospace and wondered what had changed. (Not anything as far as I could tell.) The jobs were all for developers working on or in support of jet fighter avionics.

Interview
Started off telling me about the company and the area I would be working. Went through a phone screen by recruiter. Asked mostly questions about background and things on resume. In addition, I was asked about my software skills. Then, moved on to if I had any other offers.
