I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (McLean, VA)
Interview
Straight forward interview. Describe the company, job role, then proceeded with your general behavioral questions. Google how to prepare for a Northrop Grumman interview and there was a slide deck that was very helpful. Had some tips and sample questions. The interview was one on one. Only did one phone interview and one in person before receiving an offer

Interview
The interview started with some behavioral questions.
The interview continued with technical questions. I was not asked any questions because I was considered very knowledgeable in the position I was bidding for.
The last part of the interview was a tour of the area and a sit down Q&A with the hiring manager.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Redondo Beach, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
I applied through my university's career center, and it was just a simple resume and cover letter drop. I was contacted about two weeks later through e-mail for an in-person interview at the Redondo Beach site. For the specific group I interviewed with, I spoke with 3/4 managers who ran the program during my 30-minute interview. Everyone was really friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. After about a week, I was given an offer for the summer internship.
