Interview
15 minute phone interview. It was followed up by a 2 hour in person interview. One hour was about my work history, and the other hour was a technical interview session.

What are three things other people might say your strengths are?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (San Diego, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
Half-hour phone interview scheduled by recruiter through email. Was told I would get a call from a hiring manager but never received one. Emailed and called the same recruiter to notify her, and she got back to me within the hour and apologized, saying the hiring manager was unavailable at that time. Rescheduled the phone interview for a later date. Went very well, simple behavioral questions and asked about projects listed on my resume. A few days later, I received a phone call from another recruiting manager to set up on-site interview for the following week. I flew in and out of San Diego on the same day. My interview was an hour long with 6 panel members. Few behavioral questions, but more technical questions that tried to gauge my level of fundamental engineering background and also attempted to see how I would handle pressure. I guess I tanked the interview because I received a generic rejection email the very next day.

Mechanics of materials fundamentals, electronics packaging fundamentals
Met with multiple managers from different levels of the team. At one point an internal customer representative came in to ask some questions. Very professional and made me feel welcomed.

Question 1
A lot of canned HR type questions like Do you feel diversity is important in the work place? How are the opinions of others important to you? There were job specific questions that required me to rely on my knowledge of the position to answer.
