I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Feb 2015
Interview
Initial screening was a phone call from an engineering manager, 20-30 minutes in length. I learned about the position through a staffing company who set me up with the phone screening. I'm from around Philly but the position was around Buffalo. I was able to have the call scheduled in only a couple of days. The interviewer was late to call and obviously had many people to talk to, so the interview had a very rushed feeling.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Richmond, VA) in Mar 2011
Interview
Phone interview followed up by in person panel interview. Whole process took a few weeks. The panel interview consisted of several of the IT managers already working there. HR staff set up the interviews and sending of the offer.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Palmdale, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Soon after my application I was contacted by an HR manager to set up a phone interview. They gave me good notice, 5 days prior, to set a time.
