I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Rancho Bernardo, CA)
Interview
Initial screening with HR, then video interview with manager, team lead, and other high level technical person. One asked behavioral questions, one asked why I switched industries and why I want to do the job, and other asked all technical questions about reliability and maintainability
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Explain the bathtub curve, what it is and meaning of each part
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Melbourne, FL) in Mar 2019
Interview
NGC had a multi-tiered interview like most companies. I interviewed twice with the HR Representative, performed a telephone interview with the Hiring Manager, was called in-person to perform another interview, and at the end of the process, received an offer for a position of a lower grade and corresponding lower salary. It was not enough to encourage me to leave my current position, there was no room for negotiation, and the reasons for lower position offer did not align with the job description or reviews from colleagues that had also applied and interviewed. Overall, I was very disappointed with the wasted time, energy, and the insulting offer and reasoning given.

Question 1
Questions were oddly specific to individual software suites.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Jan 2016
Interview
There was a phone interview to determine my interest in doing the type of work. Then there was an in person interview that was nothing special. I did great on the interview and received and offer 3 days later.
