I applied online. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Falls Church, VA) in Nov 2020
Interview
I applied through their website, and then a recruiter contacted me via email with screening questions. After my email response, the recruiter scheduled an interview with the hiring manager.
The interview with the hiring manager was an hour long and we discussed the position, the project, my background, and he asked me technical questions with a focus on Java.

Question 1
What is the difference between an interface and an abstract class?
Easy, pleasant, professional interview with questions like: what are your ambitions etc. Big company with what seemed lots of people hidden in their offices / cubes. Seemed very quiet around.

Interview
I'm sure the office I interviewed at doesn't represent the organization as a whole but I basically drove 45 minutes to a more rural location to interview for a developer position and when I got there, I was never actually greeted or introduced by anyone. Kind of just silently thrown into a conference room and questioned. Interviewers weren't interested in establishing any kind of dialogue or getting to know me. Was a pretty unprofessional experience overall and seemed like a waste of time for both parties.

Question 1
A few technical questions that were tackily laminated within a binder.
