Received a screening call and a 30-minute round with the hiring manager. I was told they were moving forward with another candidate while I was about to interview for the next 1-hour panel round.

Fair, typical. Odd they didn’t offer to let me speak or meet with the other medical directors at that location. It seems this location has difficulty retaining good talent. I worked there for a few years, before deciding I wasn’t fond of the corporate culture so prevalent in so many areas of the medical industry. Work harder, faster and expect the same money, maybe less. The price you pay to have a job in the medicine. Curious who is making all the money if we’re more productive but compensated the same or less. Be sure you talk with current employees who are doing your same job before committing.
