I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2024
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and scheduled for a phone screen call, followed by an initial technical interview. After clearing that, four loop interviews were arranged, which included a mix of technical system design and behavioral rounds.
The day after completing the loop interviews, I received a call from HR informing me that I had successfully passed the interviews and they wanted to proceed further.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Initial Technical Interview: Consisted of one coding test and several behavioral questions related to risk-taking, achievements, and conflict management. The coding test involved using HashMaps and was relatively easy to crack.
Four Loop Interviews:
1. Entirely behavioral—be prepared to tell stories using the STAR method.
2. Two coding questions: Implement a queue using stacks and find the maximum sum of an array.
3. System design questions along with behavioral questions.
4. One coding challenge involving binary search.
Preparation Tips:
- Focus on system design, LeetCode medium-level questions, and behavioral interview techniques.
- Coding preparation should include data structures and algorithms (DSA) and LeetCode medium-level questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Austin, TX) in Apr 2024
Interview
Recruiter call followed by a technical round which had a medium level LC question. Interview was great but wasn’t able to answer some questions. So not selected for further interviews
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Burlington, MA) in May 2022
