I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle
Interview
A long interview process, consist of 4 rounds in total.
First round would be a simple screening with the hiring manager. Basically self introduction on the background and some basic technical questions.
Second round was the technical test to test on coding especially.
Third round was an interview with a senior software engineer. A repetative round similar to the first round.
Forth round was with the stakeholders. Again another repetative round similar to the first round.
In conclusion, the interview process took about 1 month. Repetative process with different stakeholders. Management could think of minimizing them by merging the interviews into one. Moreover, it is quite dissapointing that the hiring team shortlisted a few candidates into the final round. It is giving a false hope and a huge disappointment, especially when a candidate went through so many layers and it was still not selected at the end. Perhaps the hiring team may have proper filter on the selection process and shortlist the candidates one-by-one to the final round.
