PPD interview questions

I gave interview for pharmacovigilance associate, Accenture a month ago. The interviewer told me that he will give positive feedback and will be expecting a call. I have waited for a month and then called HR only to receive a very rude response from her. I have asked a person who is an Accenture employee and I was told that my application is on hold because the project for which they have conducted interview is cancelled and so they have kept more than a hundred applications on hold. But still have hired candidates this month and are not ready to hire us just because their project got cancelled which has nothing to do with us. It's really disappointing to get such unfair response from a well reputed organization
