PPD interviews FAQs

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PPD (Madison, WI) in Dec 2013
Interview
3 interviewers with behavioral questions. Took 3 hours, very typical. Asked about team work, how you coop with management, issues you've encountered and how you were able to resolve. Some asked about instrumentation experience
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PPD (Richmond, VA) in Jul 2015
Interview
The process was longer than normal because I was asked situational based questions. I enjoyed this because I felt as though it allowed for me to be able to portray my personality well, and provide them with enough insight to determine whether or not they would like for me to be part of the team. I also met with multiple people, and was given tours of the facilities.

Question 1
What is the most important thing you've learned in your experience?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PPD (King of Prussia, PA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Applied online for a small molecule HPLC based position. 1-2 months later, I get an email and a phone call from their HR/Recruiter asking if I am interested in another position that is large molecule HPLC based due to my experience with large molecules. I agreed and scheduled a personal interview.
I was scheduled to interview with 3 individuals. During the actual interview, I was rush interviewed by the first individual because she had a meeting to attend, and very lightly interviewed by the last two individuals. It was clear that the last to guys really did not care about the interview and were only stretching it to escape from doing other work. The 2 hour interview was mostly a rambling conversation between the two interviewers with an occasional STAR based interview question directed at me. If there was a tricycle in the room, I was definitely the third wheel.
Good luck.
