Bad experience. The interview started with a logical question (described below) and the interviewer throw me in the wrong direction after I started answering the right answer (which is that all the locations would be in proximity to the north poll or the south poll) and told me to think more broadly and that those locations can be anywhere on earth. Not sure why to throw a carve ball when the candidate is clearly in the right direction.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
On what locations on earth if you walk 1km south, then 1km east and finally, 1km north would you end up in your starting point?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at PTC (Herzliyya) in Aug 2015
Interview
Short phone call to set up a meetin, 3 hours interview with the group manager. Questions mostly focused on technical knowledge, it was less personal. First part: answering questions about my studies, work experience and getting answers about the product and the working group. Second part: Basic C knowledge, sorting algorithms.
