I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Panasonic (Singapur) in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview felt very neutral and the interviewer was not sharing details on the role such as working hours and working culture. Company might be looking for someone with similar experience
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Panasonic in Apr 2022
Interview
Two rounds of interviews, one with the hiring manager and one with a few team members. Fairly standard questions about my background and behavioral questions. The most disappointing aspect is they verbally communicated an offer to me only to tell me the position is closed 3 days later. Incredibly disappointing experience

Question 1
Tell me about your experience with excel formulas and pivot tables

Interview
I applied through LinkedIn. They emailed me and asked for a MS team meeting for 45 minutes with team leader and hiring manager.
They did not ask any personal questions. They introduce themselves and ask me to introduce myself. Then ask about the gap in my resume. After that start technical questions. The hiring manager kept asking about three bullet points in one of my recent job. I explained many times but he laughed and it seem to me he thought something else (but I was very clear. I had interview with SpaceX and Apple and they understood what I meant). I found it weird.
The team leader asked technical questions about vibration. I have done both CFD and FEA simulation. It seems like they wanted someone to know the both. They asked me which one I prefer and I said if I wanted to rank I would say Structural analysis first and then CFD. Then he kinda get disappointed and explained to me that we need some one with both knowledge (which I have).
