Applied for a permanent position through LinkedIn. Received a call. Attended two rounds of interview. Was called for further rounds. Suddenly the HR realises that the position is for a contract role. How unprofessional! And she was trying hard to convince me that based on my performance it can be converted into a full time role. Such a waste of her time and mine.

Had an initial phone screening and then two days later had a digital interview with the hiring manager. At the end, I was told HR would be in contact about scheduling a 3rd interview. 9 days and ~15 days later, I sent an email to the HR employee that did the phone screen she ghosted both of them. Two weeks after that, I got the generic email from the HR account that said I wasn't in consideration anymore. Pretty bad to get ghosted at that point in the interview process, especially after being told I'd get a third interview.
