The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Bakersfield, CA) in Oct 2011
Interview
Met a couple of frito lay guys at a career fair at my campus, and had an interview with three of them later that day. I dont know what they were looking for but it wasn't me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you had to deal with a difficult team environment.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Columbia, TN) in Jun 2011
Interview
This was an internal job posting for already employed associates. Would have been for a promotion. Questions revolved around experience, how would I handle customer complaints and issues. The competition far exceeded me in experience and, as such, it was a courtesy interview. Had I been an actual contender, the interview might have been a little more involved. No fault to the company. At least I was given the chance to compete and will have an edge for the next time a similar position comes available. The interviewers were professional as always, and relaxed. If this is your first time applying with Frito-Lay, give it your all. This is a great company for which to work.

Question 1
Describe similar experience you have as a route sales person?
A customer is upset over a service issue that is beyond your control (ie production issues affecting their stock levels). As the company representative, how would you handle this while providing a positive view of the company?
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2011
Interview
Started with one 2:1 interview with Senior Finance Manager and a member of HR. Asked basic behavioral questions, walk me through your resume, why Pepsi, etc. Nothing unexpected. Made it to the second round, they flew me out to Chicago, put me up in a hotel. The process was under 24 hours but there was an orientation the night before interviews. Much more informal, got to know the company a little more. Second round consisted of two 1:1 interviews getting more into finance type things, also was behavioral, seeing if I was the right fit.
Describe a time when you had more than one project to do at once and maybe had to put something on the back burner? What was the outcome? In terms of quality and completeness.
