I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Winston-Salem, NC) in May 2010
Interview
Very unprofessional. I was told the process would take all day for a 1:1 interview. Consisted of 3 floor managers. Advised me that they'd rather spend 1 hour or less rather than 3 hours on 1 person for interviewing to get it out of the way. Rather than telling me it was to be a panel interview- they advised that I would be there for 4 hours initially. Was still a waste of time. One manager sat there and took notes and asked 1 question reading from a script while the others asked me questions pertaining to team work and leadership. They could've been more professional about details of the job. They basically read off of a piece of paper the entire time with no personality and made their jobs look very boring. Each of representative gave Pepsi a bad name. I'm so glad they didn't call back.

Interview
I'm currently unemployed and needed something to bring in some income, while I was looking for something more related to my field and experience. The process was a little weird with the 1st interview, which I thought was 1-on-1, turned into a group presentation about the position. They spent most of their time trying to talk you out the job by telling you how physically demading the position can be at times.
A week later I had a 1-on-1 interview which consisted of pretty basic interview questions (i.e. Why would you be a good fit for this position?). That went really well and they told me that I would be scheduled for a
ride-a-long with one of the current RSR's to get a good feel for the position and then a panel interview the following week. After getting that scheduled they then did my background check and found a stupid open container mistermeaner while tailgaiting at a concert in 2006, which was unexceptable since they will not hire anyone with anytype of mistermeaner within the last 7 years.
My point is, if you have anything on your record, don't bother because they won't hire you.
