Interview
Be wary if you are a female applying for the merchandiser position. Before I start, let it be known I am NOT a feminist and I hate all that crap. This is just my honest experience that I believe I was turned down for the position because I'm a chick. The interviewer had this strange look on his face when he asked me "So, why do you want to work this position?" I am aware this is a common interview question but it was the look on his face and the way he said it to me was insinuating that I don't look like I would be the type of person who would do a job like this. That was the way it came off.... Anyways, after the lifting/set up display test and the short interview, I was informed via email that I didn't get the job. Who knows the real reason. I have plenty merchandising experience/heavy lifting but maybe someone just had a bit more of an edge, it happens. I just feel that it wasn't the case because this old guy interviewing me just seemed like I was wasting his time. He wasn't rude he was just ehhh. I wonder if it was just this location? How many young female merchandisers for PepsiCo are there really? Just curious. Anyways, good luck all.

Watched 15 min video about the company and how to properly lift for the upcoming merch assessment. Finished the video and was told I didn’t have to do the assessment due to previous experience. Was interviewed/chatted with for an hour and was given a 15 min tour around the warehouse after I was told I would be getting the job.
