I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo in Mar 2010
Interview
This was the longest process I have ever gone through for a job. First when I applied online there was a personality test. After I passed that, a few days later I received a phone screen. Once I answered the phone screen questions, then I was invited to a informational session. At the informational session, the spoke about the company and described the position in detail. At this time they informed everyone that it was a new position and that it currently paid $14.40 per hour. If you were still interested after the informational session, you then signed up for a "ride along." Which in this instance meant you followed around one of the RSR's for a day and were able to see what the job really was. The informational session indicated that you were just supposed to observe since you were not an employee and were not going to be paid, but when you got there, they started handing you bags of chips and basically you were working for the day. I got an short day because there were only 1 of the 2 stores to go to that day. My day lasted 6 hours where others days lasted in excess of 8 hours. We started at 5am at Walmart. Once you passed the ride along, a couple of days later you were then invited to an interview with 2 of the Managers. After they decided if you were worthy, you were then invited to a final interview with a couple of higher ups. If you made it past that test (and it was a hard fight as they stated they were hiring about 6 people out of 45 that went to the group interview) then you were offered the job and instructed to take a hair test for drugs. This tests back 90 days. I finally started 2 weeks after the initial offer. Although I don't remember any of the actual questions, I do remember they were in depth questions and were not fluff. Overall, it was a great interview experience and the hardest one I have ever had to go through. I do hope it results in quality hires. I know I am one! ;)
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Brooklyn, NY) in Mar 2008
Interview
After making a connection to a recruiter through a career fair, I contacted by email to set up an interview and take a test. The location of the interview was in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn bordering Queens. I was told during the interview that the position included loading merchandise and distributing merchandise to various retail locations.

Question 1
how would you describe excellent customer service?
The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Kansas City, MO) in Dec 2009
Interview
To start there was a somewhat lengthy online application to fill out which included a personality test. If requirements were met then you would receive an e-mail to join an informational interview where a presenter tells you amongst a group of candidates what the job entails detail by detail about a week or two later. At the end of the informational group interview you sign up for a time to be interviewed by two district managers at the same time. After a week they would contact you let you know if you made it to the next interview which is by the regional sales managers. Should you pass that then pending a drug (hair follicle) and background check you will be made the offer.
