I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Pernod Ricard North America (Louisville, KY)
Interview
Tedious. 2 behavioural interviews. Was denied for one job, but then referred for another before ultimately dinged. 4 total. Nothing was surprising or out of left field, but the job descriptions for both positions were incredibly vague which made gauging my prepared responses impossible
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Pernod Ricard North America in Sep 2024
Interview
The interview process was structured, thorough, and engaging. I interviewed for two different Brand Manager roles. For the first role, I went through a couple rounds of interviews with the Brand Director and Senior Brand Manager, covering brand strategy, consumer insights, and cross-functional collaboration to how I would approach key marketing initiatives. Although I did not receive an offer for that position, I appreciated the transparent and constructive feedback from the team.
Shortly after, I was invited to interview for a second Brand Manager role, which followed a similar three-round structure. The conversations were thoughtful and dynamic, focusing on my experience in spirits marketing, my ability to lead brand programs, and my approach to innovation and trade marketing. The team was engaged, passionate, and eager to understand my strategic thinking and cultural insights.
Overall, the process felt rigorous yet fair, with an emphasis on brand fit, collaboration style, and leadership potential. The team was highly professional, communicative, and genuinely invested in finding the right person for the role.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Pernod Ricard North America (New York, NY)
Interview
Interviewed with HR after multiple Employee referrals and was only asked to tell them about myself and that was it. Got rejected the next day despite having experience similar to the role and knowledge of the industry.
