I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Philips in Jul 2025
Interview
Graduate Scheme UK: The initial talent manager I had interview me was a bit standoffish and basically told me the experience I had gathered at another company wouldn’t be relevant at this role which kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.
The actual hiring managers were lovely and friendly and really made me feel at ease and I loved this part of the experience.
I didn’t end up getting the role - which is okay! The same talent manager discussed how I went with ways of improve my next go, which again was good and helpful. However, after they said this they asked me “Well how do you think the interview went” which I think wasn’t really a necessary question as I didn’t get the role and felt quite disingenuous.
I don’t think I would want to apply to work at this company again.

Competency Based Questions
Presentation
I had was asked to develop a website, the requirements for the website was sent in the mail, they asked questions based the website. The tech stack was reactjs, java/python, postgresql and docker
It started off with a Hirevue interview to sift out candidates. Definitely did not like the system as it lacked human interaction and was rather rigid. Good point was that they responded fast and could expedite the interview process.
