I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Primark (Navan) in Sep 2017
Interview
General questions based on experience etc, lots about me with examples to how to overcome situations. Penneys is a great place to work, really can't fault it. The interview was very relaxed, more so a chat with the interviewer. I wouldn't overthink it but make sure to look respectful and be prepared. Know the background of the company etc

Question 1
Can you give an example of when you were in a difficult situation and how you overcame it?
There’s an exam first at home then an in person interview, it’s one manager interviewing you and it’s quite short, they don’t ask too many questions just know your CV and being able to work flexible hours helps

Questions you would expect in majority retail roles. Questions about shop floor interactions. Customer interactions etc. There's only a few questions. Interview focuses the most on your soft skills and your approach to the retail environment.
