I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Primark in May 2024
Interview
Very easy interview process. However it’s a very rushed environment and they expect a lot from you with little pay. Very unorganised wouldn’t recommend to work here. Quick process though
Average interview, typical job role questions on experience and scenarios. Budgeting, strategy, planning, managing team and workload, all typical job role functions. It felt more conversational than anything. Asked salary expectations and willingness to relocate.

I had a video interview for the Retail Assistant position at Primark. The interviewer was kind and asked many questions about my past work experience in Korea, such as what my role was and how I used to work in a team.
They also asked about how I welcome new employees, my working style, and what motivates me at work. The interviewer wanted to understand my personality and how I could fit into the team.
At the end, they asked about my holiday plans and availability. The atmosphere was friendly, and it felt like a conversation rather than a test.
