Initially I had a great experience, it was very welcoming, warming, and curious which reinforced how people matter at Primark. After a few weeks I was contacted to confirm I wouldn't progress to the next stage and was offered feedback which I accepted. Unfortunately, this is where contact stopped. I replied initially to accept the feedback and followed this up 3 other times, spanning a couple of months.... Ghosted. This changed my perception of Primark and left a sour taste in my mouth. Employee experience starts with how you attract and recruit, don't miss our these crucial steps, even if a candidate doesn't progress and join your company, you still want them to feel connected to your brand and advocate it.

Mon entretien avec un agent de recrutement chez Primark s’est déroulé dans une ambiance conviviale et professionnelle. L’agent a commencé par me poser des questions sur mon parcours, mes motivations, ainsi que ma capacité à travailler en équipe et à gérer le contact avec les clients. Il m’a également proposé des mises en situation concrètes pour évaluer ma réactivité face aux situations courantes en magasin. Cet échange m’a permis de mieux comprendre les attentes du poste et les horaires de travail. L’entretien s’est terminé sur une note positive, avec des explications claires sur les étapes suivantes du recrutement. Cette expérience m’a vraiment donné envie de rejoindre l’équipe Primark.
