I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Primark (Wolverhampton, England) in Oct 2016
Interview
I applied on Primark's website and completed a quick online form which asked for your availability, education and to upload my CV and cover letter. I then had to complete an online assessment which was basically just some 'what would you do in this situation?' stuff, pretty easy. I received a phone call 2 days later that I was invited for an interview in the store which I attended 3 days later. When I got to the store, I was shown to the staff room, waited for 5 minutes then my interviewer came and we went to a different room. The interview was really informal and the interviewer put me at ease from the start and the whole thing didn't really feel like a interview, more like a chat to learn more about you and if you're a good fit for the role . At the end of interview I was told that I would hear from them by the end of the week with a decision. It's been over 11 months and I still haven't heard a single thing from these people. I think it's a disgrace how they waste people's time and how you have to go through this long process of applying for the job, preparing for an interview, and actually doing the interview which is really stressful, and they don't even have the decency to call or email you with a decision. I had a lucky escape and I won't be applying there in the future not even if i'm desperate, because if this is how they treat potential employees then I can't imagine how they treat their actual staff. An absolute joke.
You're helping a customer with an outfit and they want to try the outfit on. The changing room queues are very long and they don't want to wait. What would you do?
