Started off having a phone call with deputy manager for half an hour out of the blue. Spoke about right to work, if I was happy with working hours, (4 week rota, every week day + every other Saturday and one weekend off 6am-12pm) why I wanted job and what my current role is, sounded very nice on the phone then rang a couple days later to ask to come in for an interview. Interview was face to face with store manager who asked multiple inappropriate and personal questions about current role and state of retail which I didn't appreciate and were not relevant to role. General questions, why you want to work for Primark, how would you deal with customers, relevant experience- everything already went through on phone to deputy, then was told if they wanted me to progress I would hear by next day for a second interview mannequin dressing. Didn't hear anything but had an email 7 days later saying they don't want to progress. Waste of time and seemed like they had preconceptions and wanted to pry about current role, why bother interviewing.
