      Interview

      I applied for this internship online. Several weeks later, I got an email from them saying they wanted to give me a phone interview in a few days. It was a panel interview. On the phone, there were five scientists and one manager. The interview lasted for almost an hour. In the one hour, they basically were asking me questions about my research and my papers. There were no much behavior questions.

      5 behavioural questions and 2 situational questions. 3 rounds of interviews with similar behavioural questions around their 5 peak performance characteristics. Interviewers were friendly and the HR replied to emails fast.

      As a PhD student, I first applied to P&G technical center in Cincinnati, and got referred to their Beijing technical center. I first had a interview with a hiring manager from Cincinnati and then a second round interview with a section head and an associate director from Beijing site. Prepare for behavior questions and questions about your technical background.
