Interview
My interview was pretty good because the supervisor at the time was such a nice person. I was given my uniform and hours and drug test to take after the interview. She also let me know that i will be in training at the register to get a good idea of the working environment and the customers.

Interview
Filled out an application at the JAC (Job Application Center), then spoke with the store manager right after. She was really nice and told me she would pull my application. I got a call about a week later for an interview with the department manager. He was really relaxed and personable and the questions were just general questions about myself. He said he wanted me for the job and to expect a call from the store manager for a second interview. A couple days later, I received the call from the store manager to set up an interview with her. The second interview with the her was a couple days later and was just as relaxed as the first one. She was extremely welcoming, and it felt like we were having a general conversation, not a job interview. At the end, she gave me an offer and I accepted. Both interviews were pretty quick (no more than 15 min). Entire process, with orientation, was about 2-3 weeks.
I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Publix (Lilburn, GA) in Oct 2014
Interview
You have to go to a job kiosk and fill out some stuff. Then they'll call you to do a one on one interview. They tend to be more friendly than other low-skill recruiters. In fact, they're so friendly that you will probably leave the interview thinking you made it.
