I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PwC in Sep 2010
Interview
I applied for the position online, not really expecting to receive a response but when I did I was excited. I was called to discuss my resume and at first it did not seem promising, as they were looking for someone with more experience did I have. However, after a few weeks that passed, I heard back from them to schedule an interview. The recruiters were nice and assisted me in any way that they could. I was told that I was going to meet with about 8 people in a 3 hour span. I never had an interview like that before so I did not know what to expect. The process was generally easy but I needed water throughout the entire interview. One thing that they all stated was that there were no set hours and that you will be on call. So this had me wondering. On one hand, I could go for the opportunity of a lifetime to get the recognition of working here but they were listing more cons than pros. I found that quite strange. Some time had passed after the interview and I was listing out my pros and cons of whether this opportunity is right for me. A few weeks later, I received a second call for a lunch meeting. After careful thought and consideration, I did not feel right about moving forward in the interview process. Something inside of me just didn't feel right so I thanked them all for their time but I would not proceed any futher.
If you are a young and out of fresh college student, then applying at PWC may be a great opportunity. However, if you are looking to have a steady work/life balance, you may still want to look into applying there but just make sure you are 100% before going any further.
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PwC (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2010
Interview
I applied in June and got a call in September for a phone interview. After the phone interview I was invited to the Chicago office and met with a HR manager, Director, and a partner. Each of these individuals had a 30 minute interview with me which were back to back. They were mostly behavioral questions and focused more on team work and leadership. 3 weeks later I got a call with an offer and I accepted.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at PwC in Jun 2010
Interview
I applied for the summer intern. after the online application, i ran into the numerical/verbal test which was in english. I heard other applicants got chinese version, but maybe it is because im oversea.
the interview was mainly behavioral qs based on cv, conducted by the manager. Not difficult, but one should have reviewed the CV well 'cause the interview would ask about any corner.
