I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (Reading, England) in Jul 2009
Interview
Competency Based Interview - Nice intervieweer tried to make conversation.
Sat Numerical & Verbal test - Extremely Time pressured (Fail This! Fail the stage! Fact!)
Group Exercise (Pointless really - only as good as your group but make sure your not silent, try and take control of discussion, and most importantly show you are actively listening.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PwC in Nov 2008
Interview
I got my interview through dropping my resume on my college's job vancy portal. They had initial interviews on campus. The recruitors were extremely friendly and willing to answer alot of questions. Most of their questions were geared at getting to know who you are and whether you would be the right fit. The second round interviews were the office visit. I had 3 interviews that day with a panel, partner and manager. My advice is to be relaxed and yourself and make sure you have questions. Durin the office visit the ppl were very friendly and warm and interested in learning more about you. It is a workoholic culture but the people and the organization seemed to try to embrace work life balance. The office is large and can feel overwhelming but the people that worked there were extremely helpful hence making the experience enjoyable.

Interview
Varied wildly based upon who was interviewing. Some pursue "easier" conversational based interviews, while partner interview hammered on behavior-based questions for over a half hour. Worst question: "What is the hardest thing you've ever had to do?"
