I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2010
Interview
I got the first round interview through university job fair. First interview consisted of 1 45-minute 1:1 interview. Questions are mainly about my resume. No behavioral questions during the 1st round. One week after the first round, I received the email notification for the final round. Final round consisted of a pre-interview dinner (3 candidates, 1 associate, 1 manager, 1 partner), presentations from the firm, 2 1:1 interviews, half an hour each.

Question 1
Why you opted for audit field instead of commercial line?
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (Hongkong) in Dec 2010
Interview
Standard Procedures. Online application - Written Test - Accessment Center (both panel & 1:1 interview) - Partner Interview.
No technical questions at all. Most of them are fitting questions, and some questions about the company and current issues.
My partner Interview lasted for 1 hour and 15 mins, but my friend's is only 20 minutes' long. I guess it depends on the partner & whether they have time to talk with you.
The culture is quite friendly and HR sounds nice over phone. But probably because they have too many applications to process, I will not call their recruitment process exactly "efficient". But people there are nice.
