I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2010
Interview
Two rounds of phone interview followed by on-site interview. Phone interviews went well and invited for on-site interview. Then 6 rounds of 1:1 interview with different levels of people in the same team. Most of the questions were from my resume. None of the interviewers were intimidating. Eventhough the focus was supposed to be on DSP, the interviewers asked lot of questions on programming.I did well in all the interviews. Still I did not get offer. The reason they gave shocking than anything else. I seriously doubt their hiring process and one of the interviewers doesn't seems to know anything in DSP.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2010
Interview
Submitted my resume through my University's online recruiting system. Received a call a couple months later to participate in their Destination Q recruiting event. Interview consisted of three interviews. One was on Operating Systems, another C programming concepts, and the last one was general problem solving and critical thinking. The interviews were fairly easy for the most part and the interviewers really nice. I was surprised because I was expecting much more difficult interviews.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Qualcomm (Santa Clara, CA) in Dec 2009
Interview
I had an on-site interview with GPS team. Interviewed with 6 people, including 2 managers, 3 Sr. engineers and 1 HR person. Each took about 50 minutes. Very technical. Was tested with wide range of questions including OS, C, boot sequences, and microcontroller architecture. Interviewers are all very nice. Imo too nice that sometimes you thought you did better than you really performed.
