      Software Engineer I Interview

      Jun 21, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Richardson, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Richardson, TX) in Jun 2018

      Interview

I applied on their website, and was contacted via email about a week after to set up a phone interview. Since I wasn't a local candidate I only had one interview which was the phone interview. The interviewer asked basic behavioral questions and technical questions about Java (Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation, Abstraction/Interfaces). Just study the main principles of OOP and Java and you should be fine. Also tell them that you are excited about learning new technologies and that you enjoy working on a team.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

What's inheritance and can you give me an example?
      Answer question

      Question 2

What's polymorphism and can you tell me how you would use it?
