I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RTX in Jan 2021
Application
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at RTX in Apr 2013
Interview
Submitted resume and cover letter through their Rayjobs portal for an internship position in the electrical design directorate. Was contacted approximately 2 months after the submission and scheduled for a phone interview. The phone interview was very informal and actually didn't involve many questions directed at me or my past experience; instead it was mostly a briefing about the corporation and what my interviewer was working on.

Return internship from previous summer. Consisted of talking to HR, manager from previous internship and explanation of why I want to return. Interview process was short and reasonable. A bit difficult to get in contact with HR.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ) in Apr 2015
Interview
Originally set up a phone interview. Was asked a few questions about my resume. Lasted for about 30 minutes. I received an email a few days later inviting me to Arizona for an interview. Flew out for interview and tour of factory. Then was offered a position the last evening.

Interview
Through HireView, a virtual recording tool. I was asked a series of multiple choice and video response questions. The videos were timed for 3 minutes, with 30 seconds of preparation. Afterwards, they follow up with you via email to let you know if you continue on or were rejected. I would definitely recommend doing the practice questions before you start your interview.
