I applied online. I interviewed at RTX (Boston, MA) in Oct 2019
Interview
Was through short video recording program, could never tell when the video was starting. Horriblw way to conduct an interview. Never made it to the next round. Many of the questions were standard interview questions. Some of them were a bit strange.
I applied online. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ) in Oct 2020
Interview
I applied online, received a notice a week later for an interview. The monday before the interview, there was a networking event. I got 2 more interviews from that. The day before the interview was an information session about the Tucson location. I had 3 interviews the day after that. Because of COVID-19, all the interviews were conducted through zoom. Before each interview, a moderator would make sure your microphone and video were working properly. The interviews were pretty standard. I expected behavioral questions, but I only had 1 of those out of the 3 interviews. Essentially all the questions were based on my resume, asking about specifics for the projects. They emphasized questions on how I used the systems engineering process throughout my project (requirements). The day after the interviews, I got an email saying I would get an offer. A week later, the official offer came.
They contacted me several weeks after I applied online, then scheduled an interview 2 weeks away. There was an online group networking meeting the week before the interview. Their was an information session on the company the day before. The process to get to this point was relatively time consuming, but they kept me well informed. The day of, I interviewed with 3 people of varying experience. It was pretty relaxed but still professional. I just walked them through my entire resume and they asked questions along the way.
