Interview
I applied online and exactly a week later I was invited to interview during a virtual hiring event the following week. So, from applying to interviewing, it was about two weeks. I interviewed with a software engineering manager on Zoom during a 30-minute time slot. The interview itself comprised of about 10 minutes of presentation on the company structure, products, and locations. The last 20 minutes were a mix of Q&A and interview questions. It was very informal and comfortable. The interviewer primarily asked me for anecdotes about programming projects, questions about how I handled interpersonal situations on teams, and questions about my previous experience. He put emphasis on C and C++, though we did discuss Python at one point. There was no technical interview (like LeetCode or HackerRank). I received notification the next business day that I would receive an offer. It was a painless experience and left a positive impression on me.

Interview
It was a 1 round interview for me. They asked about your background and they ask questions that are scenario based and behavioral questions. I guess I answered the questions correctly. There were no technical questions asked, all scenario based.

Nice woman called me and asked me about myself mainly. By the end I asked her some questions. She was very enthusiastic about everything. She explained a lot more specifics about the role as well.
