RTX Software Engineer II interview questions

I applied online and a few weeks later I got scheduled for a phone interview for a position in their Richardson, TX office. The interview was very strange. When I first dialed in, there were a few people on the line and they said that a few more should be joining. After about two minutes of waiting, they decided to just start and let people join as it progressed. They started with some pretty standard 'tell me about X experience' type questions. This took about 15 minutes as they walked through my resume. During this time, I heard the chime of people joining 3-4 times. I never got an introduction as to who these people were. I just knew there were around 6 people listening to this interview at this point, which was very odd. Throughout the whole thing, they only asked me one technical question and that was about reflection in Java. They never asked me about approaches to solving problems and the entire time it felt like no one had prepared for this interview at all. They seemed to be making it up as they went along. At the conclusion of the interview, I was told that I would have a response within a few days but to reach out to my recruiter if I hadn't heard anything after one week. I waited two weeks and hadn't heard anything so I e-mailed the recruiter who contacted me. It took him about two more weeks to reply and his response was that he had reached out to the hiring team for more information. It's been several weeks since that last e-mail with no reply. Overall, I had a very bad taste in my mouth and the entire process seemed unrefined and completely unprofessional. My advice: prepare for your interviews and don't ghost your candidates.

Was flown out for an interview in Tucson AZ for a large hiring event. We were given a tour pf the facility and had a networking event. Stayed a total of 3 days. Final day was the interview. Interviewed for multiple positions. Was asked to give descriptions of past work and projects. Behavioral questions were also asked. No coding or whiteboarding. Very laid back. Was given an offer for all jobs I applied for related to software about 3 hours after leaving the interview.
