I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2009
Interview
Contacted by Raytheon recruiter to attend a hiring event where interviews were being held. The event included an informal time of meeting other people (Raytheon employees and other recruits). There were presentations and speeches given by senior employees talking about their experience with the company and their careers with Raytheon. Following this was the actual interview. I had two rounds of interviews each with two people. One person led the interview and the other person took notes. The questions asked during the interview are behavioral in nature so prepare your stories beforehand. Following the interviews we were brought onto a Raytheon facility and given a site-tour.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you were under pressure to complete a project with tight deadlines. How did you handle it? What was the outcome?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RTX (Denver, CO) in Nov 2012
Interview
Called for an onsite interview after submitting my application. The interview consisted mostly of softer technical questions, such as the difference between function overloading/overriding, and code reading. Not really hard, just be prepared for OO programming questions. The interviewers weren't notified that I had an interview until an hour prior to my interview. No tour or anything, just a 1 hour interview. Not the most friendly interview in the world.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at RTX (Tallahassee, FL) in Oct 2012
Interview
A head hunter came to my university interviewing all day. Who was chosen to interview was mostly due to first come first serve basis with a bit of preference toward class.
