I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SAP in Dec 2009
Interview
several interviews on the phone, several face to face, not too dramatic, usual interview pressure
be prepared to sell specific company product - general knowledge from the site is enough
The interview was with the VP sales of mid customers. He was asking many questions about the sales process. They were looking for someone with 7 years experience at SAAS sales
