It was a simple process that lasted approximately one hour. It was at the local office of SAP in TX. The person who interviewed me was a manager in that local office and was responsible for the consulting organization. It was a typical interview. I was offered the job and worked for SAP for over 16 years. What set it apart from other interviews is that I still speak regularly to the person who interviewed me even though we are both gone from SAP.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SAP in Jun 2014
Interview
The first round of Interview went too well. All kinds of questions were asked-java,puzzles,problem solving, trick questions.Second round of interview went equally bad.The interviewer was a sadist-he made me uncomfortable from the very first statement he made.I told him that currently I'm working on android but am interested in core java.So he asked me to write all the features in core java.I listed around 12 features. So his reply was "if you are so interested in core java-is these all the only features in java".He was mocking at me by laughing in 1 cheek all the time.Last but not the least he asked me about my CTC and it was just the 2nd round of technical interview when he was neither the hiring manager nor the HR ,it was not in his capacity to ask my CTC.Apparently he does not use IDE ,he does all coding on Notepad(sarcasm)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at SAP
Interview
Hiring process was completely virtual. interviewed with 2 vice presidents and 4 Directors from various departments. Dealt with the recruiting office initially . Was made to feel comfortable during the entire process
