Most of the interview involved the manager giving me a background about the business and bragging about the amazing, positive changes about to occur. I wanted information about the testing procedures and what an average day there was like. I think it's important to know what a job entails and how things work. Instead I was informed over and over that they were receiving new testing equipment. Every lab has machines that run certain tests and I'm familiar with a wide range of them. I could train my dog to conduct flow cytometry testing, though to be honest she is highly intelligent. Give me specifics details about what I'll be doing daily. Don't point at the equipment and say "look it's shiny and new".
