I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sage in Dec 2010
Interview
The recruiters at Sage are not good at follow up...but once the interview process actually started it moved along pretty quickly. They used a Lominger style group interview but the team was not used to doing it so it was not particularly effective. They was more interested in impressing each other than selling the company opportunity.

Question 1
Tell me about a situation where you had to make a decision without having all the information you would have liked.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sage in Dec 2010
Interview
I went through a 3 stage interview process that began with a H.R. Consultant and progressed through the hiring sales director and ended with the Vice President. The initial and subsequent interview were clear in terms of the scope of the role and interview steps and more conversational in nature. My final interview was also conversational in nature but there were inconsistencies in the VP's understanding of the role and the description provided by HR and the director. All three individuals were polite and friendly but I couldn't measure how my answers were received. I was disappointed in the lack of a response after the final interview in spite of several voice and email messages that I had left with them.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sage (Herndon, VA) in May 2010
Interview
The process was very haphazard for such a large organization. The interview was conducted by 2 very young, non-HR people, and it was not very professional.
