Not bad. They had good questions but the interview took longer than expected. I think they're a good company based on the people that I met there. Everyone was very accommodating.
Virtual interview. The people interviewing me were so friendly and this made it easier for me to answer questions. I really enjoyed the interview. They gave me a feedback within 24 hours and this was so amazing.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sage (London, England) in Aug 2021
Interview
THESE CLOWNS COMPLETELY WASTED MY TIME AND THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL FOR THESE COWARDS.
I applied through a recruiter after they advertised the role in London. They made me go through three gruelling rounds of interviews (including a time pressured excel test and presentation). The people I met were lovely, and it seemed that they were very interested in hiring me. I was also very interested in working for Sage. They made me a verbal offer just after I received a very good offer from another company. I turned that first offer down as Sage made it clear that they were making me an offer- they also KNEW ABOUT THAT OTHER OFFER.
They said that they would make me an offer in writing a few days later, and I trusted them. They then WITHDREW THE OFFER AND MOVED THE ROLE TO NEWCASTLE- despite initially advertising the role in London, which is why I applied. They were also too cowardly to tell me this unfortunate screw up personally over the phone- they just emailed the recruiter representing me (DESPITE KNOWING I HAD TURNED DOWN ANOTHER OFFER FOR THEM).
Apparently, they moved the role to Newcastle in order to 'have an equal headcount between the London and Newcastle offices'. What absolute rubbish. Even if this were true (which I don't think it is), this is something they should have figured out before advertising the role in London and wasting all London candidates' time. I think the real reason is because the budget holder had realised in the last second that a London candidate would be more expensive than a Newcastle one, and the budget holder's bonus would be at risk if they hadn't met their cost saving targets. Again, something they should have figured out before advertising the role in London and wasting everyone's time.
They could not even be bothered to call me up personally and apologise.
This is not what I expect from a company that is supposedly a top employer and such a great place to work. They wasted my time not only for this role, but also for the other offer I got, which I would have otherwise accepted, had Sage not said they were going to make me an offer.
If the shoe were on the other foot, and they made me a real offer, which I verbally accepted, but then went back on my word, I can only imagine how they would have reacted- they would blacklist me forever.
I will never apply to this place again, and have been spreading and will continue to spread their screw up across my network.
