I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salesforce (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2014
Interview
I was contacted by the recruiter to setup a phone screen, then to a call with hiring manager, then an inperson meeting with hiring manager + VP + recruiter, then was made an offer. Fairly straightforward process.

Interview
The entire process was thorough and concise. They definitely have intervening down to a science. I really appreciated prep and tips from the internal recruiter who helped me. Overall a great experience that made me sure that the job was the right fit for me!
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2017
Interview
Overall, 9/10. Every interview experience really gets determined by the quality of your recruiter. Great experience inside and out. It was tough, but you want it to be to ensure you're around only the best. On average around 3-4 weeks smoothly, typical interview structure, 3-5 calls with recruiters, hiring managers etc. The difference was, 2 on sites. One more about your background and then a presentation focused on a past deal you've won. There's a bunch of fluff in there above your background and goals etc, but the bread and butter of this is breaking down a deal you've won and bringing to life how you sell. Prepare like crazy for that presentation, I almost botched mine. Luckily I still got the offer but don't underestimate it and go into plenty of details around ROI. Overall it was a professional, productive experience. I've worked and interviewed at several tech vendor companies and they were up there. They need high caliber experienced people so make sure you are ready to go all in. But very satisfied.
