I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
The interview process was very scripted. Had two interviews with two different recruiters and they both asked the same exact questions. The first lady showed up 12 mins late and the 2nd one showed up 16 mins late and told m she had 10 mins till her next call. Very unprofessional and rude. Really dont get why they did this, but either way i thought I was talking to two robots. I had very strict stipulations as for travel and relocation in which they couldnt meet my needs so i decided not to continue conversations. I was referred by a current sfdc employee and received an interview the next day which was great

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2011
Interview
- Phone interview with recruiter
- Panel interview with 2 attendees was the second phase after the phone interview
- Presentation to 7-10 VP of Sales managers
- SFDC provided sample company to sell to and requires you to taylor your presentation to this case study
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2012
Interview
Had two experiences. Both led by recruiter reach out. 1st one was very poor in that interviewing manager was OOO and didn't cancel. So two (new) employees interviewed me and received no feedback or follow-up.
Second go around (1 year later) was very professional and quick. Reached out to recruiter, follow-up with standard level 1 and level 2 recruiter, Skype interviews with hiring manager and one level up followed and then an onsite presentation.

Question 1
Not so much a question, but the presentation. Prepare for it. Spend the time and research the company and value prop. Recruiter will help prepare you but go for more research!
