I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Salesforce (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2016
Interview
Salesforce's interview process was very methodical and transparent. From my first interaction through the acceptance of my offer letter and pre-onboarding paperwork, everyone I connected with was extremely professional and communicative. They do a great job of continually qualifying that moving forward is worth everyone's time, and that each interaction adds value to the interview process.
My process included an initial phone conversation with a recruiter, invitation to a networking event, follow up conversation with recruiter, initial interview with several members of sales leadership, follow up interview including salesforce value presentation, and then offer letter. In between those key steps, there were several small conversations with my recruiter who did an amazing job of keeping me in the loop, and making sure I had clarity on expectations of next meeting(s).

Question 1
Walk me through an example of a complex sale cycle you've led
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

Describe a deal won
Apply via Workday, initial recruiter screening via phone call, 1:1 manager interview and introduction, then panel presentation with role play. You'll need to build and present a deck in the final stages.

Question 1
Walk me through a deal example and how you won the opportunity.
pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
