I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2016
Interview
I reached out to a recruiter on LinkedIn and got a quick response. Had multiple phone interviews with the recruiter, they tried to setup an informal interview with one of the managers, but it kept getting pushed back, they finally scheduled it but the night before the interview they switched people and I spoke to someone that didn't have an opening. They then scheduled me for a panel interview. I was supposed to meet with two people, one of the people (the one with the opening, that I was initially supposed to meet with informally) didn't show up until almost 35 minutes into the interview and at that point we had to backup and rediscuss some of the items me and the other manager had already talked about. While the recruiter was very professional, the interactions I had with the management team left a lot to be desired and ultimately I don't think culturally it would have been a good fit.
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

Apply via Workday, initial recruiter screening via phone call, 1:1 manager interview and introduction, then panel presentation with role play. You'll need to build and present a deck in the final stages.

Question 1
Walk me through a deal example and how you won the opportunity.
pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
