I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
I applied on line after the job had been posted for a week. After another week+ a recruiter contacted me about setting up time for a 1:1 meeting with the hiring manager. That interview was a half hour. After that I was contact to schedule a 3-hour onsite final around interview. The onsite interview was 5 half hour interviews followed by a case study. After that I waited another week and a half to receive an offer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Boston, MA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Applied online and received an initial email from the recruiter in about a week. The process took some time as we were scheduling interviews across multiple time zones, however there was constant, clear communication from the recruiter at all times.
Every single person I met with (6 people!) was warm, welcoming, and clearly loved their job. The interviews were all relatively informal—not a back and forth Q&A, but rather a substantive conversation.
