I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Sydney) in Apr 2020
Interview
Four stages; including a screening interview with a Salesforce internal recruiter, hiring manager, incumbent for culture fit, and a personal presentation to a group/ panel of five. Due to COVID, the interview process was done entirely using video conferencing and took longer than it would have otherwise. Salesforce reps were good at managing my expectations through the longer than normal process.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in May 2020
Interview
I was initially interviewed by the hiring manager for an hour. After that I had a conversation with the recruiting manager who filled me in on the longer interview (2.5 hours). It was overall an incredible experience, I had three 30 minute interviews with different people/groups, an hour break for lunch, one last 30 minute interview, and then a presentation. I think it was a good experience to have a case study to prepare and present on as well as get to speak to a lot of different members of various teams. Nobody was intimidating and everybody asked me building questions based on my previous responses.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY) in Mar 2020
Interview
Applied to a general req back in Jan 2020. Recruiting emailed in Feb 2020 noting that the hiring team was screening my resume/application. In mid-March 2020, a recruiter reached out to set up an intro 30 min phone screen to discuss high-level details of the role. Recruiter was super knowledgable and easy to talk to. After talking to Recruiter, I met (virtually/video) with the hiring manager for 30 min to discuss role in more detail. Conversation was dynamic and natural, focusing a lot on soft skills. Thereafter, the Recruiter scheduled more time that same week to meet (virtually) with the extended team to better understand the role/ecosystem at Salesforce. Again, conversations were amicable and straightforward. All interviews were done within the same week, and I received an offer by the end of that week. Recruiter approached process with a lot of momentum. Really impressed by how straightforward and streamlined the whole process was. And even more impressed with the people I interacted with throughout the process - everyone seemed genuinely happy to be part of the Salesforce family.
