I applied in-person. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2019
Interview
The initial recruiter was great! However, once you get past 2 phone interviews and an in-person interview it was not a great experience. The "group" panel interview had nothing nice or positive to say about the company. One woman told me she wanted to quit everyday her first year there. Another person told me if I liked high stress every moment, then this is a good job. I appreciated the honesty, however that made me think very negatively about this company.

Question 1
What would happen if you came in and 1/2 of the staff quit
It is a good experience. Kind and Generous. I recommend that company. I was So empressed. The interview process was very positive, and I found the interviewers to be incredibly kind and professional.

Question 1
They asked me to detail my strategic approach for evaluating a complex semiconductor patent portfolio and how I would identify key assets for monetization.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics (Hongkong) in May 2025
Interview
The interview process was smooth and well-organized. The management team was very nice, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the discussions. They were genuinely interested in my experience and provided clear insights into the role.
At the end of the process, the HR representative mentioned that I could reach out if I wanted updates on the recruitment status. However, when I followed up, I didn’t receive a response, which was a bit disappointing. If I can have clearer communication on next steps, it would have been helpful.
First round was a screening interview with TA.
Then proceed with an onsite interview with hiring managers (Team leader and Head of department)
another round with the same panels and korean boss to present assignment.
