Samsung Electronics interview questions

Easy and straight forward. Just basic questions of work history and such. No difficult questions, interviewer was very polite and answered all my questions. Also liked the transparency of salaries and work schedules.

Was invited for 1:1 on site interview. First of all, the interviewer ( hiring manager) was late for 25 mins for a 45 mins interview. Eventually he showed up after multiple pings/calls from the interview coordinator, he showed no remorse with excuse like “ I don’t even remember I have this interview scheduled”. Throughout the process, he remained rude and unprofessional. He made comments abt my resume “ your resume looks like garbage”.. the comment is totally out of line in a business setting regardless of the quality of the resume. More importantly, you invited me for this interview so I assume that you had already reviewed and agreed to proceed ? Then why did you invite me and then insult me ? There were other comments reflected the hiring manager’s total unprofessionalism. For example , he said “ wow you dressed so casual “ when we just greeted. the interview was late in the afternoon, so I came after work with regular business casual outfit ( regular long pans and collar short sleeved shirt).. Plus there was no dress code mentioned in the invitation email. Even worse , the hiring manager showed little interest to engage. He only asked for a couple of questions and entire conversation lasted for abt 10 mins. Then he rushed to end claiming he has another important person to meet. Been in the valley and semiconductor for 15 plus yrs, this by far the worst experience ever ( Order of magnitude worse than any other interviews), I have never imagined people can behave so unprofessional during interview but today I experienced. My suggestion : stay away from this company/team if you can ( samsung foundry business team) PS; the recruiter and interview coordinator are professional and helpful.
